I'm looking for a manual of a Globe overlocker of 30 years old. Can you help me please? It is from New Zealand, but now I'm in The Netherlands.

Hi there
Did you manage to get a manual for your Globe M 34 overlocker. I have one, I don't mind copying it and emailing it to you.

Cheers Alida

Hi Wil, Globe is a name I remember from NZ days too but I think maybe they were owned or bought out by Singer.

Anyway, try this website back in NZ
http://www.sewingnz.com/categories/Globe/ they have manuals for four Globe overlockers, you don't say what model yours is but you should be able to pick this up from the info plate on the machine (usually on the motor panel or by the power socket).

The other option would be to go to http://www.singerco.com/accessories/instruction-manuals and then trawl through the free downloadable manuals there and see if you recognise a model that looks like your machine, it may be there too.

I hope this helps you with your machine.

Hello Barry

A service manual is available (at a small cost) at:
Bernette Sewing Machine Service Manuals which would also provide parts.

Please give me a thumbs up if this is helpful.

I have just inherited my Aunts NewHome 743 KNITLOCK Overlocker, but over the years she has misplaced the instruction manual, PLEASE can anyone help me locate a copy of one ?

I found my original instruction booklet for the New Home Knitlock Model 743 743D after being misplaced for many years. It is very old and tatty. I still have the overlocker stored somewhere as I replaced it with a new overlocker. I am hoping to sell the overlocker with instruction booklet when I get round to having the machine serviced. Please let me know if you still need a copy of the manual.
