My LG electric range LRE30453 is not heating. Both the oven and cooktop are not heating. When I try to heat the oven, I get an F7 error code. The manual says to reprogram, but gives no instructions for how to reprogram. I noticed the problem when I was trying to use the self cleaning cycle today. I was simultaneously trying to boil some water on the cooktop. The manual says the cooktop can be used during the self cleaning cycle. About an hour into the cleaning cycle, I realized the water was not boiling and the oven didn't seem nearly as hot as it usually is during the same cycle.

Power down, then back up. You will be lucky if that fixes it though. I had the same problem here. It is in-warranty so I called Electrolux. Parts came in only after requesting them multiple times. Repairman put them in and they were bad. After a month it is still broken. I was promised a new unit, but little real action. Electrolux is a horror. No way to DIY this thing, too complicated. Cut your losses and buy another brand.

I will NEVER Purchase another LG product!!!!! We have had our Range for 2 years, each time i've used the selfclean option, it has burned out our computer unit AND power pad! I've called LG, called Home Depot and the extended warranty department. NO HELP what-so-ever. LG, says there is nothing they can do! So we paid $1700 for a stove that we can NOT use the self clean feature because it will put us out for a week. Its not very frugal having to take a family of 6 out to eat for a week and a half straight! And this is NOT the first time its happened! DO NOT BUY LG!!!!!!!!!!! The Customer Service will NEVER work with you if you have an issue, and once you purchase it, its out of the store's hands!
