No reset button ,sorry. The problem you describe is pretty common with this model as its a fault in the horizontal drive circuit or in the main power supply and without the proper service manual as well as the prober tools and equipment this set its not gonna get fixed. there are no panels or user changable boards as it is a solid state set. ptscorp.com could repair this board or exchange it with a referbished board but it would still requir some adjustment that a user may not be able to handle. time to call the pro.. Sorry couldnet help ya more.. Good Luck.

remove all the electrical wire connections from the back of the tv .remove the power plug from the electrical outlet and wait for two minutes and replug the wire and then ckeck.it should work.

this sounds like the typical bad fly-back transformer that is also known as the high voltage transformer, n=-Not really a repair for a novice so unless you know all of the safety notices with this set please do not attempt this repair as why save 100 bucks for something that could seriously kill you!!!!!
Hi, thank you for visit fix ya.
Do you havve problems with power supply capacitors.
Replace this:
2200uf 25V, 220uf 25V ( bowed or vented). Located beside power transformer.
Thank you
If it weren't for the high pitch whining noise. I would say it probably is an internal fuse inside the chasis. It is rated at 1.5 to 2.0 amps. With the whining noise it sounds like a trouble shooting bench
job. Problems occur when a electrical/electronics device is turned on and turned off. Inrush voltage,
when it is turned on, can go up to three times more than normal. This also happens at turn off. Solid state components usually fail at this time. I don't feel that this is a problem that can be fixed in the home.---BBB
I'm afraid this failure is not just a fuse failure in your TV since you still can hear the relay clicking. This fix might not be a DIY.
Where can I send you additional info on what could be wrong with your TV?
the rca itc222 chasis has a processor that shuts the set down when it detects a problem for Safety. it can be one of about 30 problems. the computer also records the errors in memory and a technician can interface with a computer to read these errors. after the set attempt to come on 3 times then the set locks up and you have to unplug to reset.
Try unpluging it for 15 min.and try it ,if it don't work it might have a leak in your button,it is a simple and cheap repair.I suggest to call your local repair shop.
