At school i went to another room to download music on my pm3 player but the computer said i had to be an amidersatiive to get on so it messed up my player it frozed and then every time i plug it up to an computer it says please connect player to pc. but you see right before i put it in that computer it was working just fine.

Uninstall and reinstall the version of the software from the Philips website

SOURCE: player isnt connected to computer

Make sure you are running Windows XP & Windows Media Player 10.

If you have already rolled back from Media Player 11 to 10, make sure you also uninstall Media Player 11 Runtime fro the add/remove programs list.

SOURCE: computer not detecting

hold the volume up key WHILE PLUGGING it into the USB. Keep holding the key.

This worked for me.

You will need to grab the updated version of the Philips Device Manager from Philips website and update the firmware to resolve your issue.

Heh.

When you plug in ANY MP3 player, it will show a general screen saying not to DC or that its charging. As for adding music, check your "My Computer" area, look for removable devices. And please, talk without caps lock on, it makes you look unprofessional, people will read it the same either way.
