We just moved and the house came with a Maytag Neptune TL which won't spin if there are clothes in the cylinder. It will spin empty. Please help! Thanks.

Washer bangs around in spin cycle and throws a DC or UC unballance code with cloths in the wash basket is that correct?

If so it's a Clutch issue.

Maytag Neptune TL

The TL neptune has a small shock absorber on the middle left hand corner behind the front panel. it uses a small wiring clip that could be loose, with a type of inertia switch.
A common issue I've encountered with this machine is underloading. The snubber and springs allow a fair amount of movement. Don't do a few simple items or mixed load in this machine.

Maytag neptune washer makes noise during spin cycle now won't run during spin cycle and say unbalanced load. Shift clothes cycles power still won't work.

Try adjusting the feet at the bottom of the washing machine, they turn both ways and are easily to turn.

Hi - my maytag top loader FA5800AWW is stuck on wash cycle. it won't do the spin only and it is sometimes getting stuck locked.

I feel you have a Clutch issue Google this phrase ""Neptune TL Washer FAV6800AWW"" you will find the Service Manual in post 5 of that sticky.

Wont spin with clothes

Common problem with this model I own it. Sounds like the roller clutch bearings in your machine are seized/rusted up. Do you want to try to DIY the repair? Read thru this post for the details of what is involved. Post back with any questions. Rich
