Hello, Canon Pixma MP210, new out of box (although it had been sitting in the box for quite some time). First paper through went in crooked, and since then it powers up with an E23 error. Can't do a thing. No paper jam, no foreign object. Per other suggested solutions, I've already tried purposely creating a paper jam (to reset the error message) and also forcing a piece of cardstock through the rollers (to clear any unseen debris). No luck. What next?

I am sorry, this had no effect.
We had two different people follow these instructions precisely. Tried several times each with a person over their shoulders confirming each step along the way. No dice.

Holding down the "resume" key while powering up does get us to a point where the error "E23" does not flash. Only the "alarm" led flashes. But after following each step, when we restart the printer, the E23 returns.
    Thanks anyway,
    Jana

E23 means Paper Feed error. Since you already checked that there is no foreign object stucked from the inside, try to reset the printer. See procedure below:

With the printer power OFF, press the Power button while pressing and holding the Stop/ Reset button. When the Power is ON, hit the Stop/Reset button 2 times while pressing and holding the Power button. When releasing the Power button and the Stop / Reset button, the printer will go into a service mode. When the ON-OFF lights in Green, hit the Stop/Reset button the specified number of times according to the function listed in below. Each time the Stop/Reset button is pressed, the LED lights in orange and green, starting with orange.

Hit 4 times for waste ink counter reset.

  3. While holding the Power button down, release the Resume Button.

Canon MP210 takes paper crooked and spits out crooked or jams. How to fix? Followed manual for cleaning feed roller but to no avail. Thanks

could it be a paper clip fell into the paper feed slot? see if you can shine some light into the slot and use a dentist's angled mirror to examine. sound like debris may be the culprit. disassemble it to the extent that you have ability to. LEARN THAT WAY!

Pixma mp210 e2

Use a piece of thin card or stiffer paper that is A4 size & try to print something.
When the paper starts to move, push it through to clear out any debris. If that doesn't fix it, get in touch with the store you bought it from, or Canon. They should be able to help - especially since it's brand new.

Paper jams every time

Only dirty rollers are obstructing the paper path. Clean the rollers with a moist cloth (NOT WET).

Paper feeds in crooked. Pulling from one side.

Mine does this same thing but it prints straight. I put the guide slider tight as I can to the paper. .

Every time I go to make a copy the printer pulls the paper in crooked and it jams

One of the biggest reasons for the paper feeding in crooked is that the platen (what the actual paper feeds across to be typed on) gets really slick. All in all that platen and anything that handles the paper needs to be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. It will restore the texture to all the parts that actually handle the paper going through. That is all there is to that problem. God bless.
