My internet provider changed and with it came new IP addresses. Now my scanner on the Ricoh Aficio 2035 esp will not scan into the "scan folder" on my PC's desk top. How do I configure the "scan folder" IP address so the copier will scan?

    The IP address for the copier/scanner remained the same. Now the scanner doesn't work and the printer indicates it is off line.

    My PC is configured with a "scan" folder that receives scans from my Ricoh Aficio 2035 esp machine. In changing internet providers, the IP addresses also changed. I need the scanning function to interface with the "scan" folder on my desk top

Hello there, your unit is quite a monster in the realm of printing. The write up for configuring the unit on a network are contained in the Network Guide. Although the complete guide for this product contains 1044 pages and i had to sift through all of that. Here is a link to the entire manual incase you need it.

Hi, If it is a network copier then it may happens. There will be a button that provide you all information about the copier by pressing it. You will find the IP Address of the copier in this information page. Disconnect the copier from system and print the information page by pressing the button. Then connect it again. Open internet explorer put the Present IP address in address space. Then put the new IP address in the configuration page of the copier in internet explorer. Reboot the system and the copier.

Hi, to change the IP address of a Ricoh Aficio 2022, follow these steps:

- Press the User Tools/Counter button.
- Choose System Settings.
- Choose Interface Settings.
- Choose Network.
- Choose IP Address.
- To specify an IP address, choose Specify, and then enter the address you want to use. To have DHCP automatically assign an IP address, choose Auto-Obtain (DHCP).
- Exit out of the User Tools screen.

If in the control panel don't show any places or any door, change the switches on the front cover area and the switches of the fuser area. If the problem continuos check the laser area.

Using a Ricoh MP1600 printer just need step by step isntructions on how to add and store an email address on the Ricoh MP1600 so i can "scan to email" ??
put ip address of the copier into web brouser (adress bar)log in user name administrator or admin no password go to address book and just enter e mail address.Will work as long as the the rest of ur network detais r correct ie smtp server ip address and if u using any authentication. Will not work if u dont have microsoft exchange on ur server

Hi, i am trying to is tall aficio 2035esp as a network printer... i connected it to the network, i even have the ip address of the printer, but none of the computers on network see it? how can i fix it?
The IP address must closely match your networks IP. So if your netwok IP's are something like 192.168.50.25, generally speaking the copiers IP must match at least the first 3 sets of numbers or 192.168.50.xx
Sometimes the port number can cause you not to see it as well. I am assuming you have the driver loaded and have gone thru the install new printer procedure.

Make sure the gateway is entered correctly, are you scanning to file or E-mail? Using web immage monitor is the easiest way to do it either way. if you have questions e-mail them to [email protected] -Carl

My Ricoh Aficio 1035 is not seeing the network
You will need to assign a new appropriate IP address for the machine under "user tools" system settings", "Interface settings", "Ip address".
Then create a new tcp/ip port for the printer, and point the old driver to this. Scanning may require additional work -perhaps a tech, to reconfigure the scanner. Your probably using the "scanrouter" software?

Printer shows offline/Scanner has no destination list
You must program the email addresses in the machine address book, so that you will have a destination list to scan to email.
You can also try to scan by pressing the Scanner button to access the scanner function and input the email address manually by selecting manual, and then press the Start button to scan the document.

Problem in scanner when scan
Try adding the scanner's IP address in the scnhosts file in the TWAIN folder. Format is similar to the windows hosts file. You'll see a commented out sample entry, just modify that to suit your needs.

This may or may not work for you; we had it working under this configuration but then it stopped for no apparent reason. also note that scanrouter isn't supported under vista. Only advice I've been given so far is to revert to sending scans via SMTP - not ideal!
