2012 Harley Davidson Sportster when I'm in the throttle can the clutch make the transmission feel like that it's slipping?

if the clutch cable or hydraulic system is not properly adjusted , the clutch will slip the same as a car clutch on acceleration
if the wrong oil in the clutch housing/transmission is used or there is a friction proofing additive used that will also make the clutch slip
take it to a harley service center and have it properly diagnosed and fixed

My 1995 ford f150 4x4 transmission slipin 1st 2nd a lil but really slips an ant pulling in 3rd it a 4 speed

check that the clutch master cylinder is operating correctly as the clutch is slipping
this may be from the compensating pot being blocked and holding the pressure plate off slightly
if it is a cable clutch then replace the cable
if the clutch system is properly releasing and engaging the clutch then the fix is a new clutch kit

1976 Kawasaki KE 125 clutch slips in high gear

Hi, Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. Clutch controls improperly adjusted.
2. Insufficient clutch spring tension.
3. Friction discs or steel discs are worn or warped past specs.
4. New wet clutch not pre-soaked for 24 hours.

1988 firebird trans am clutch slips

At start up is when the maximum friction control is required as it has to get the vehicle moving . This problem is indicative of a faulty clutch master cylinder (replace ) or a weak pressure plate spring in the clutch assembly, oil on the clutch lining or almost worn out . Try the master cylinder first as it is the cheapest fix but other than that the box will have to come out for a new clutch kit.

What weight of oil does the my 1995 Honda Accord with five speed manual transmission required to havein it?

many modern transmissions use a 30 grade straight mineral oil in the box but experience shows that a 80-90 grade OEP oil is still the best for long transmission life
However incorrect oil in the transmission will not make it leak or slip as that section is a clutch problem and if you have oil from the bell housing and a slipping clutch it indicates an over full transmission blowing out the input shaft seal and destroying the clutch
the original occasional slipping clutch indicates a problem in the clutch master cylinder or clutch cable and would have been a cheap fix but by allowing a person who is not trained in procedures , the fix will be in excess of $1000.00 as you now require a new clutch kit and front seal in the transmission

I own a 1995 Audi 90cs. My clutch peddle started being dead tell half way down then got preshure. Now there is no preshure and the peddle sticks to the floor. There was no slipping in the clutch so I

You need to replace the clutch slave.....Ii recently did mine, after the installation it was stuck too.......the way I fix it was I had a friend pumping the clutch by hand while I bleed it under the car, it took about 15-20 minutes before it got hard again.
Good luck!

Adding Stop slip to a manual transmission with not keep your clutch from slipping. Replace or adjust the clutch.

1999 carrera c2 feels like my clutch is slipping.

On the old 911's you could adjust the clutch. The new ones are hydraulic and self adjusting. Sounds like you need a new clutch.

Clutch slipping

if it slips u need a new clutch. not a home mechanic job unless you have a complele set of tools, a heavy duty floor jack and safety stands, the car will need to be at least 3 feet off the ground.
