Hi, I have just bought a Wireless G Plus MIMO USB Network Adapter. The drivers is installed very well i guess because I can connect to my router. And it's status says that it's working properly. The only problem that i'm having is that there is a periodic lost of connection. I tried to configure it by switching the settings to 802.11 b, 802.11 mix b/g and 802.11 g. but it doesn't work. It's making me mad because I have to reload the page the internet often. I can't play online games either because of so much lag. My ping is so high like 300-600. I hope someone could help me with this problem.
By the way, my router is Dlink G Booster 2310. I was also using netgear pc card before and its software is still there. i didn't unistall it. I'm connected to Road Runner broadband. And my laptop is just about 10 feet below the router.
I experienced this problem before, what mine turned out to be was that when I configured the router to accept a passphrase the problem would appear it worked fine without the passphrase but this is not secure at all. I tried a few things, but nothing worked. I ended up getting a NetGear Router.
Hope this helps

same here. it keeps connecting, then i am able to go online, for maybe 2 minutes, then the connection drops. then reconnects, repeats. super annoying. it didn't do that before, but my problem was that it wouldn't connect to the internet, just my network. then it downloaded Windows service pack 3 and barely connected to the network, let alone the internet. so i uninstalled Service pack 3. able to connect to the internet, it just drops the connection like i stated already.
I am having the same problem.
