The normal procedure would be to go to the manufacturer's website, download and support section and determine an OS appropriate driver, download and install. There are seven (7) versions of a Compaq Deskpro Desktop PC C700 and 294 versions of Compaq Presario C700 Notebook PC, which one do you have?

In any case, pls source/reference this site and select your exact model number.
