I have a Mac OSX and I've tried installing the Scan Thru installer a million times and I've also restarted my Mac every single time but it seems to never download? It always says installation successful (and once restarted) I never see an icon on my desktop. I also search for it through the search button on the top right of my Mac but that never finds it either.

SOURCE: scan from hp psc 1315 to Mac OSX

first remove the printers folder,then the drivers manually one by one from the receipts folder,then remove the hp software. Deselect the hp in the printer preferences and then install the hp software again. And then it should work. Check in the printer preferences for your printer, If the hp fax is in there. Remove it and select the printer and thats it.

1.printers folder is located on the hard drive-library-printers
2.reiceipts folder is located same-library-reiceipts
3.Download the software from hp website.
