How can i set up barcode for thermal barcode - Zebra Z4Mplus Label Printer

Hi

I have noticed this when we use Seagull Scientific drivers, the driver somehow just changes it's settings from TT thermal Transfer or DT Direct Thermal. You will need to change from DT to TT either through the printe dialogue box, document properties or through the driver, prefrences.

I think you shou ask you question on Zebra support forum. There is not so many themal barcode generator provider.

You need to change the print method from thermal transfer to direct thermal. There are three places to do this:
- on the printer itself - in the printer driver (this will override the setting in the printer and be the default setting for any new labels crested) - in the print properties of a specific label (this will override the two settings previously listed) The last option works best if you are switching label stock or ribbon in and out for different labels.

Hopefully problem might occur with the printer calibration setting, try printer calibration in argox printer,
if that does not work, check the label mm/inch setting.
if that do does not work, check the labels peel gap in between is even.

The thermal printhead need to be cleaned with isopropylic alchool with a cotton bud.

Sorry I don't think there is any system of saving the darkness setting, as it is thermal barcode level printer. It will always give you the save color depending on drum heat.

This is defendant on the program you use to print labels with. The printer responds to either a print job sent to the driver (like a standard windows printer). Or you can send an EPL program to the printer in order to use internal barcode generating features of the printer. The dimensions of the barcode are controlled via the EPL script. See the EPL programming guide avaialble on Zebra's website for more info.

Please go to the inhouse program & click printer properties and
change the printer setup to direct thermal and that's it.

recalibrate the label length in the printer(hold feed and power up). from memory bar-one uses the label settings from windows, so go into printers and faxes under control panel and correct the label size
