Double click on pad surface. Buttons could be faulty. Check mousepad settings. Install drivers

We we talk technically, you charge laptop battery till 100% then unplug and use it.

Doesn't you have a manual to do it,it is just a simple problem if we have a picture instruction,you only need to connect with them rightly,and make a correct setting in HP pavilion dv1000.

Here is the Maintenance and Service manual. It gives all the steps for getting the fan/heatsink assembly out for repairs.
