My m105 works great but will not hold a wireless connection. Please advise....Allan...

Hello

Disable firewall settings to check if it doesn't block connection.

1) Update the WLan driver. In most cases this solves connections issues.
http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/

2) Go to device manger -> WLan card -> Properties -> Advanced tab and check if the WLan modus 802.11 B/G or N has been set to the same Wlan modules supported by router!

3) Disable the WLan encryption and password on the router and check if you could connect to the router without any security settings. Do this only for testing purposes. If it connects properly, enable the encryption password and try again.

4) Disable WLan power saving! This can be done in Win Power Management. If that doesn't work, perform a system restore, set your computer to how it was the last time you were on the internet.

Hi i have a u135 and it hasbuilt in blue tooth but i donot know how to activate could u help

Not sure if this will work for your model but its worth a try. Copied from MSI support faq website
You have to press the WLAN button located right next to the power button in order to enable/disable the Bluetooth function. Press WLAN button once, Enable WLAN. Press WLAN button twice, Enable Bluetooth. Press WLAN button thrice, Enable both WLAN and Bluetooth. Press WLAN button four times, Disable both WLAN and Bluetooth.

Cant get my wireless connection to work not sure

To enable/disable WLAN, please press "Fn+F11" to execute the device: (then follow below steps accordingly)
Note: there are four stages in all, assumingly both bluetooth and wifi are installed.

First stage : press Fn+F11 = Enable WLAN only
Second stage : press Fn+F11 = Bluetooth On + WLAN Off
Third stage press : Fn+F11 = Bluetooth On + WLAN On
Fourth stage press : Fn+F11 = Bluetooth Off + WLAN Off

After enabling the WLAN, search the Access Point and connect with it. Now, you may use the WLAN.

If this does not work, check if the driver is installed in your computer by going to the device manager. check under network adapters. If the driver is installed, uninstall the current driver and restart the computer.

If the issue still persists, you may download the driver update at the msi website: http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=nbdriver&maincat_no=135&prod_no=1474. Just make sure the driver you're downloading is compatible with yoru operating system

My inspiron 1501 informed me that the WLAN IEEE 802.11 WAS MALFUNCTIONING.WHAT TO DO?

The WLAN may be faulty or the driver got corrupted.
Reinstall the WLAN driver and check the Device Manager to see it the WLAN is working and enabled, if it is then configure it to match your wireless router settings.
If this doesn't work the most likely the WLAN card is faulty.
To get a wireless connection again, purchase a PCMCIA wireless card and insert it into the PCMCAI slot, install the driver for this wireless card and configure it to match your wireless router settings.

Wlan disconnected

I'll need more information to give you an effective answer. If your wlan was connecting just fine, and now you don't have a stable connection, it could be a range issue and you'll have to get closer to the access point.
If your wlan doesn't work at all, and won't get recognized by your computer you may need the latest drivers, in which case I'll need the model number of your wlan device.
If it works, finds your wireless connection but can't connect, try resetting your wireless router.
