My HP Deskjet 3050 J610 Series is not printing. All jobs are getting stuck in the print queue with the status "Error - Printing". I have tried turning the printer off and on again, and restarting the laptop but am still getting the same issue. Can you advise?

Status - deleting printing

Sometimes a job will get stuck. If rebooting does not work, right click My Computer > Manage. Go to Services and Applications > Services. Stop the Print Spooler.

This will need to be done by an IT admin if the printer is at work and on a print server. Don't forger to start Spooler.

HP DeskJet 6540 print job stuck in queue

If your computer has a Windows OS, you can clear the queue manually when the job will not delete it from the print queue list.

With Windows Vista or Windows 7, you will need to run the command prompt as Administrator. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt (for Vista or Win7, right click here and choose Run as Administrator). At the prompt, type "net spooler stop" without the quotes followed by pressing Enter. Next type "net spooler start" (again without the quotes followed by Enter). Restart the computer then take a coffee break before trying to print again. If you don't type the start command, this reset takes even longer after the computer is restarted.

Note if you use a Fax machine with the computer, you may need to confirm that this will stop the Fax service as well.

If the problem persists, make sure that the USB cable is currently connected to both the printer and the computer. You may want to change ports and make sure that other devices work in the USB ports. (Some computers have an option to disable some USB ports.)

If you have a different OS, please add a comment with the OS on your computer. I hope this helps.

what is the status of print job in the queue? whether it is showing printing or no status in the windows.
if the status is printing you delete all the print jobs and switch off and on .then try print something. if no status is there in the windows then you check whether the printer is off line .try make it online by right click on the printer icon then click on the use printer online.
