Sharp microwave oven r-9h20 display flash(00:00)) and no keypress action

I searched using https://www.google.com but did not locate an instruction manual for that model Sharp microwave oven.

Recipe at the link below suggests adding extra sugar before baking.

You have a failed membrane keypad.

Replacement keypads are no longer available for any Sharp R-9H-series microwave ovens.

The oven will have to be replaced.

You are probably referring to the cycling of the klystrom in order to maintain the power lever you have chosen. The noise is characteristic of yours and other cycling type ovens. For a quieter operation that is not "all off" and "all on" in succession, try a DC powered next time. Panasonic makes one called Inverter...maintains cooking level without switching.

1. Open door
2. Press clock/Kitchen Timer button the display will show "0:00" with the hour"0" flashing.
3. Enter the correct hour by turning the potary dial. Enter 1-12
4. Press clock/Kitchen Timer button the display will show "0:00" with the minutes "00" flashing.
5. Enter the correct minutes by turning the potary dial. Enter 00-59
6. Press clock/Kitchen Timer. The colon will remain flashing.
7. Close the door.

All microwaves are very powerful, dangerous machines which emit electromagnetic radiation using a high frequency magnetron. Do not mess with this or it will cook your liver . Take it to an approved service department for repair or recycle it.

It's very likely that somebody has accidentally set the oven into demo mode; something which is accessed by a secret keypress sequence for display in retail stores.

could be a broken door hook; defective door microswitch or the microswitch bracket itself. the door just may need adjustment; as many people lift microvave by the bottom of the door; which is a no-no.

It sounds like your electronic board has malfunctioned. It may have to be replaced, sometime it is cheaper to buy a new oven. Technician's fees and parts may be more than it it worth.
