One of the problems with Vista was unsupported devices. A lot of companies skipped Vista and went from XP to 7. Microsoft changed the way they did drivers and it caught a lot of companies out in the cold. Unfortunately this means that when it says unsupported for Vista it really is unsupported. Other windows versions you can sometimes use older drivers but not with Vista. If Sanyo doesn't have a usable driver then you just won't be able to use it.
Accordint with the camera features its possible that your device wont work under Vista, they just mentioned Windows XP, 2000, ME / Mac OS9.0 or above.

Telling me that my camera won't work with Vista IS NOT A 12 DOLLAR SOLUTION...;I suggest we keep looking.
Other advice not sufficient "possible your camera won't work with Vista" I knew that already! Surely somebody has some other suggestion...
