Light bulb replacement

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Hitachi+CP-X253+bulb+replacement.

Fourth result.

"User manual" link on that page.

Page 48 of that document.

Turn off projector and remove power, undo screw on cover, take cover off, undo screws on bulb housing, remove bulb, put new bulb in, do screws up, replace cover, do up its screw, reconnect power and turn projector back on. Go into menu, advanced, option, lamp time, and push the up button to reset hours.

I literally just read that out of the manual.

I have two steady red lights on my projector. I just purchases a replacement bulb that is the bulb only. Is there any tricks to the installation and will this resolve the problem?

What is needed is to remove the lamp door and remove carefully the lamp assembly. Now clean the filters, make sure that there is no dirt accumulation. Use gloves when you are handling and replace the new bulb carefully into the holder slot., make sure that this is tight before you screw the holding brackets.
repace the lamp door and switch on, now reset the lamp hours by using the menu > settings> reset .

How do I change the lamp? Lamp came with no directions. This is a HD72.

Hello there,If your movie projector light bulb has stopped working, there are some simple steps to take to get your movies playing again. The hardest part may be finding the correct replacement bulb. There are so many different models with their own specific bulb. Here are some steps to follow to replace your burned out light bulb.
  • Locate the bulb in the movie projector. You may need to use a screwdriver to open the bulb compartment. Check your owner's manual for proper procedures.
  • Step 2.Remove the movie projector light bulb or lamp. The bulb must be cool before you take it out. Use a tissue or cloth to remove the bulb because the glass bulb is very fragile. Do not throw away your bulb yet, you may need it to help find a replacement.
  • Step 3.Find replacement bulb. The Better Lamps website offers a wide variety of light bulb models. From their homepage select the brand of movie projector you have and using the model number from your old bulb, buy a replacement.
  • Step 4Replace the movie projector lamp or light bulb. Do not touch the bulb with your skin. This can transfer oils from you onto the bulb resulting in a hot spot which can make the bulb burst. Use a tissue or cloth to handle the new bulb to screw it back into place and then replace the cover.

    Exploding Bulb

remove the top of the projector (remove the 6 screws on the bottom and the top 2 screws on the back), use canned air, and blow every piece of dust out of every nook and cranny. also, don't get cheap lamps from "bob's house o' lamps". get the AN-XR10XLP/1 from a sharp dealer to get the full life out of a lamp. also, make sure the vents on the projector are not blocked when you use it.

Optoma EP719 Projector Won't Power Back On

When you first replaced the bulb it went back on and then later it did not. Most projectors have a safety switch that it is activated upon the bulbs cover placed. Once the cover is removed it activates the switch and shuts down power to bulb. It sounds based on your remarks, that this switch may have intermitten problems. I would suggest, locate this switch and verify its operation. Or, make sure the bulb cover is placed and/or secured properly.

Benq pb7220, can't find composite video source

    Hi there

You'll see at the back of this projector where the composite input is there is two holes with screws. Unscrew it and remove the part.

It looks like a DVI connctor. Check if all the pins is in order. If you can't see anything wrong - buy just that part and replace it.

It is VERY cheap to replace.
