250V T6.3AH Slow Blo Fuse

This NEC VT 670 is mounted from the ceiling for a SmartBoard. Recently it blew a bulb, but after replacing the bulb the projector will no longer light up the bulb. The power light will come on, the fan starts up, but then when the bulb would normally come on, I get three beeps and then the status light flashes and the power light turns amber. I have found the above mentioned fuse to be blown, and have replaced it. My problem is, I don't know what caused it to blow, I can't find any bad readings on the circuit board. Is there any other fuses throughout the projector that I might look for. Kelly

Depending upon the way in which the lamp finally smoked, it is not unusual for the feeder fuse to blow. Replace the fuse and try the projector. As long as you haev a new lamp, it should work OK.

I need to find a fuse for my jbl sub 160 subwoofer.

Those are pretty common. I'd pull the old one just to make sure the new one looks like it and be SURE the new one is a "Type T" or Slo-Blo.
Google "30mm 3.15A 250v slo blo fuse" and you will find them at Mouser, DigiKey, even Amazon. Better still--if you have a local electronic parts store, go there.

How do I know If the fuse that needs replaced is a "slow blow" or "fast acting" fuse?

Look at the stampin on the fuse, if it has TXXA 250V, then it is a slow blow fuse type (T = Time dealy), some may be stamped with SLO-BLO XXA 250V on it.
Post pictures if you are not sure.

I currently own a Klipsch promedia 2.1 computor speaker system. However, the fuse blew and i can not find the specific fuse i need anywhere. The web site says that i just need a standard 2A 250V slow blo...

Have you used 2A SLOW BLOW fuse? This type of fuses usually are ceramic type and are very different with the glass type ones. The glass type fuses are (more or less) fast blow. Although the best solution is to find SLOW BLOW fuses like this, in case it's very difficult you can use 3A fast blow fuse also.

NAD C270 amp won't switch from red power/protection to green.

The AH may denote "slo-blo" style as opposed to Fast-acting
A fast-acting fuse will look like a single strand of wire ( maybe wiggly looking) ..A Slo-blo will have an element in it and a spring

NEC VT670 Blown Fuse

Hey SithPitt,
sorry I can't help you, but maybe you can tell me where to find the fuse. I opened the projector and have problems to find a fuse on a first view. The suspected place near ON/OFF is well shielded.
