We bought a new Kitchen Aid refrigerator a few months ago for a home we purchased and are renovating so we haven't moved in yet. It is a French Door model with bottom freezer with ice maker. It was the last one and a floor model. It was delivered without owner's manual. Can we get one? What are the recommended temperature settings for freezer and refrigerator sections?

Download manual from web site. Freezer should be around zero degrees and fridge around 39.

SOURCE: Kitchen Aid Ice maker Stopped working

I would suggest not buying a KitchenAid. I have the same problem with my ice maker. Have had nothing but problems with every KitchenAid product that I have ever owned. I will never purchase another KitchenAid product.

All of there appliances are second rate. That is "The KitchenAid Difference"

SOURCE: Kitchen Aid Ice maker Stopped working

The ice maker has stopped working. The red led light blinks when the freezer door is opened. Any thoughts?

SOURCE: NO WATER IN ICE MAKER

From what you've described, it sounds like you have a defective inlet water-valve.

I would remove your outside rear bottom panel; disconnect the 2 prong wires connected to your ice-maker water valve (blue with black solenoids) and check for continuity using an ohm-meter setting. If defective, replace. Whats' your model #?

Kitchen aid stand mixer bought in US, moving to Europe, 220v 50hz

I can not respond to the warranty issues. My kitchen aid mixer is past warranty as well. I live in a country that uses 220V and my kitchen aid mixer is 110V. I have been using my kitchen aid mixer for almost 4 years with no problems at all.

The converter boxes are supposed to blow the fuse on the converter before it reaches your appliance and cause any problems.

If you purchase a 220V kitchen aid (although it would cost more money) it would probably have more power because of the higher voltage.

Hope this helps!
