Our camera Optio V10 never switch on. When push the start button the camera start, make the zoom two times and after this switch off. We cant start the menu pressing the buttons start + view image and we reset the parameters but the problem is not solved.

The non-functioning of the camera can be a fault in the shutter, zoom or auto focus sections and may be due to the failure of the Main control system or the drive. A simple was is to reset and we can try by removing the battery and card for some time. Now replace only the battery after checking or formatting the card , make sure you transfer all the images to the PC.

Now it is possible that the control system has errors and so does no load the program as desired.
Keep offf battery for few hours while pressing down the start and menu buttons.

If not there are errors in the servo and unless you are familiar with handling of small devices must the camera be opened. If so check the voltage on the motor drive, check the auto focus and Zoom drives, it must be free with manual movement. If jammed the motor can be removed and released. If none of these works then you can think of taking consensus with the service centre.
Get estimate before you decide. It will be good to have it checked at the authorised service as you do not have to run around for spares.
