My Phillips Go Gear 8GB MP3 player wont sync music

I have used Windows Media Player and Winamp to try to sync some music onto my MP3 (music that has already been burned onto a CD--so i know it's not the file themselves) and it acts like it's going to sync and then it just stops for no reason.

Windows Media Player 11 ruins this player. Uninstall Windows Media Player 11, and roll back to Windows Media Player 10. Then use version 10 to sync songs to your device.

I dont know how to upload music to my phillips gogear vibe 8GB

Hi kingcharell...
Downloading Music to MP3 Player

1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer.
NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11.
If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10.
2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer.
3...Open Media Player on your computer.
4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player.
5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on.
6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it.
7...After it is sync'ed with the computer, you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player.

I have Phillips GoGear Vibe 8GB SA2VBE08K It is

Use a pen tip or other sharp object to insert the RESET hole on the side of the player.

Here is a page which shows you how to transfer music over to your new Phillips Media Player. Windows Media Player sync is specific to Windows products. Do NOT use this to transfer music to your Phillips media player. Use the software supplied by the manufacturer.

If this solves your problem, please come back and rate our solution. Thank you.

How do i down load music onto my mp3 player

depends which mp3 player it is. If its an apple mp3 player you need to install itunes. Other MP3 players either come with software applications or will be compatible with most media players such as winamp or windows media player.

Phillips mp3 player not being recognized by windows media player

try this... open up a windows with the music you want on the mp3 player, then open a windows with your mp3 player, it should be listed under my computer\your mp3 player\internal storage\music and then just drag and drop your music over to the music folder on your mp3, and please note that might not be the exact location of yours im just using mine as an example, also when you connect it if it asks what you want to do with this, click on open and there you go

How to download music to Phillips Go Gear 4G.

Use Windows Media Player to load songs onto it. Here are my help files:
The instructions in these pages, which are largely links, pertain to Windows Media Player 10 and 11 only.

Windows Media Player is made by Microsoft. The general help page for Windows Media Player is:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.mspx

Through this link, you can enter a variety of search terms that will help you find what you are looking for (exs.: “add files to my mp3 player”; “delete files from my mp3 player,” etc.)

Important Vocabulary:

The code word for “mp3 player” in Windows Media Player is “DEVICE” or “portable device”

The code word for adding files is “SYNC,” “syncing,” or “synchronizing”

The code word for copying files from CD is “RIP,” or “ripping”

The code word for files stored on both My Computer and my Mp3 player (when it is connected to the computer) is “LIBRARY”

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/wmp10/harrison_wmp10.mspx

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/faq/sync.mspx

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0085.mspx#EDF

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/getstarted/ripcd.mspx

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

I pod touch

ipods are only designed for itunes so windows shouldn't recognise media player, any way, the new software for ipod touches is greater, meaning your computer/windows media player wont recognise it, only itunes will.

Cannot load playlists

Try sync your player with winamp. It synced the whole winamp media library (including playlists). Hope this can help.
