My range stop working

start by checking power at the 120V supply line.

Bigejpp, start with the basics, On the back of the range where the cord hooks up see if you have the correct power. Three terminals, you should have 120V from each end to center and 240V across the two outer terminals on the terminal block. If you don't have this, the problem is in the breaker. If you do have it, remove the upper back panel and look at the board. You will see L1 L2 and L2 out which goes to the elements. Test for voltage at L1, should have 120V. If you have power to the board and no display, the control is at fault. This is for a 790.95320 electric range. If your model does not beging with 790, most electric ranges operate in a similar matter. Catriver.

My best guess is the blower motor is going out -- probably the bearings. You might be able to replace just the motor excluding the propeller or the squirrel cage as the case maybe.

You will need to replace the "control board" on the unit. Here is a link to the part. Here is a diagram of your hood. The part is number 20 on the diagram.

Oven suddenly stopped to work.
After trying to turn on "bake" or "broil" I can hear couple clicks but nothing else happens.
No flame/no gas is coming out.

You may have blown the fuse in the back of the unit. Take the radio out and check the fuse in the back if that is not the problem the reset button should be back there if it has one.

FAN AND LIGHT DOES NOT WORK
my zephyr typhoon stopped working. Neither light not the fan come up. I am sure there is power going into the unit. I turned on the light one day , the light cam on and suddenly went away. From then even the fan stopped working. any information on what happened is appreciated. Thanks

If the circuit board is burned out, then the above website is a suggestion for ordering.

There is less than 120v getting to the fan. Its possible that the lights will turn on etc. Take an extension cord and plug it in another plug and grab both power wires from the fan and stick them in other end of extension and I do service calls for broan & Nutone

try it out. Im sure your not getting 120v completelty.

Diana, the tech sheet I have states that if the unit has a power interruption, reset the house circuit breaker to the hood, if made before 2001. If after 2001, serial number beginning with DA press the start button to reset the hood. Let me know if it worked, Catriver..post back.
