Electronic controls don't count down properly

The dishwasher counts down to 1, then just keeps running. When I open the door, water is still going and suds fill the bottom of the dishwasher. When I close it again and press the start button, it goes to 13, then counts down to 1 and keeps running again. The other day it was reading 58 minutes left in the cycle. When I looked a few minutes later, it was 74 minutes. A time or two before, it stuck on 1 but then operated correctly for a few days until today.

I have the same problem with my Bosch SHU5312. It counts down to one but never finishes and I have to reset it to drain it. Where is the control board and how do I get it out? Are there any diagnostics I can run to help confirm the problem?

It has been a occasional problem.. have to keep shutting door a number of times until it allows dishwasher to start. Like sensor going bad or something.

I emptied the water from the dishwasher with a sponge and removed the filter, cleaned it removed the water from the hole where the filter is and wiped the interior dry. When i close the door to start it the pump seems to working but sounds like it is sucking air. I have then opened the door and put about 500ml cold water in dishwasher and closed door again. this seems to make it sound more normal and i can see water has been coming out of the rotating arm jets. But it still only goes to 1 minute and then runs on. The small dome by the side of the lower arm seems to activate a pump when lifted slightly so i presume this is normal. can you suggest what else i could try to try to get the machine to reset to cycle properly. Also when i turn on to 50 degrees wash cycle the time indicated is only 55 minutes instead of usual 130 approximately.

Your problem is the electronic control board and unfortant that you cant repair or even get parts for it . Only if you get the whole control board will you fix your problem assy unless you find a good appliance man that repairs electronic control boards

Not water comes into Bosch dishwasher?

Assuming you have verified water is actually getting to water valve, most likely water valve is the problem and needs replacing.

AEG Favorit 65050VI fills with water but fails to heat or wash (spray). Detergent is released and time counts down. No fault code indicated. Can you please advise?

Have you tried in one of the short cycles which does not heat the water. If the heater is faulty the dishwasher is waiting for the thermostat to click in and start the washer and keeps counting down.

You will have to replace the heater if short cycles are working ok.

Also try to follow the reset sequence shown on page 30 of the manual.

My Bosch dishwasher stops with one minute left on the timer but keeps running most time the soap dispencer door has not opened

Ok The soap dispenser is controlled by a wax plunger. This is mounted in the door on the back of the dispenser. Remove the door panel and gain access to the wax motor. Two wires connected to a brown colored small rectangular box about 1 inch long. You must check this wax plunger for resistance and short circuits. This item is a naughty little thing and can blow up your electronic. for mine I would get a new wax plunger and fit it straight away. They dont cost that much. After this if the fault still counts down to 1 tell me if the motor is still running at the end of the cycle. It very well might be. If this is so the electronic may be faulty. You can menil me on [email protected] for further assistance.
Also check to see if the cycle works normally on the rinse . That is a cycle whit no heat. Just the pre rinse.

When the washer gets to 1 in the cycle, it doesn't stop washing.

try running the test cycle or running delicate economy in that cycle it gets up to 150 degrees in the very first cycle let it run 15 or 20 min see if the water is screaming hot it is not and Luke warm it is not heating it is most likely a control board heaters very rarely go out

Dishwasher keeps running

I have seen this several times, and all of the times it has a bad control board. usually if you take the control board out, you can see a visibly burnt spot on the back of it wher a connection has melted. Another possible slowrun time problem could be that the water coming into the dishwasher when it fills is not hot. If it isnt hot, it takes the dishwasher longer to heat the water to temp, and therfore it runs longer. Is the water coming out of your tap reasonably hot? if not you may need to turn up your water heater settings. But if nobody has messed with the water heater, or the tap where the dishwasher is attached and the problem just started then thats probably not it. Good Luck!
