If you still can see the stem near the hole of the watch, you only have to replace its crown. but if not you have to replace both. i hope i had been helped you.

How do I reset the millisecond hand used in the stop watch function on my nixon Ride SS watch?

Try this:
Resetting Chronograph Hands:
Note: Some Nixon watches come equipped with a "screw-down" crown; the crown must be unscrewed by turning it counterclockwise before it can be pulled out)
1. Pull the crown all the way out to position 2.
2. Push the crown in slightly to position 1.
3. Push top pusher button to advance the second hand to line up with the 12:00 position
4. Push the crown back in. (Make sure it is screwed in if it is a screw crown)

I Have a fossil 10 atm watch & the date doesn't change automatically so i change it manually but then half way thought the day it changes the date

Your watch is 12 hours out of step.

The date changes every second time the hour hand passes 12 O'clock.

Your watches' second pass is at midday instead of midnight, so to make it operate correctly, you need to wind it on 12 hours. The date will then change at midnight.

My nixon lowdown watch screen says ROM FAIL and i have only had it for 3 days how do i fix it ?

Hi You don't fix it. Hopefully you mean it's only 3 days old from being new and you can take back to the shop for refund/replacement.
ROM - stands for Read Only Memory and is basically the chip that all the software and information is stored on. This runs the watch and it's this that has failed. You could try reseting the watch by removing the battery and then replacing it.

  • Undo & pull the crown all the way out, then
  • undo the adjuster button (the one underneath the crown)
  • push the stop/start adjust button one push at a time and it will move in slight increments, keep going till you get the second hand on the 12 mark
  • then push the top adjuster and it will go back to the 12 mark.

I recently bought a Kenneth Cole KC 3790 as a gift and I am tying to set the date...the date is presently Saturday 27th February and I am having difficulty getting to the 27th day of February on the...

Pull out crown to the time setting position (second click) and set time to 5.30 pm or am. Push crown back completely. Pull out crown to the date setting position (first click) and set it to 26th, then pull out crown further out to the time setting position (second click) and adjust watch hands forwards until the date changes to 27th. Date is changing at midnight, so, continue to adjust hands forward to the right time. Rate me, plz.

How do you set the time to the Nixon 51-30 watch. Also what can you do to stop the knob from coming all the way off when unscrewed?

Click on my profile (escapement), then click on Tips and Tricks. There you will find link to all Nixon watch manuals. To stop the crown to come off it must be screwed and secured onto stem. If you are not sure how to do that, visit your nearest watch repair shop and they will do it for you. Rate me, please.
