I have an HTC hd2 when I turn my phone on the slide thing on the screen won't slide, so the phone won't unlock. Sometimes it will work but not very often.

It seems you need to reset your phone.

1. If your phone has crashed and won't respond, you'll have to perform a battery pull to power the phone off. Simply take off the back cover and remove the battery. Otherwise, just turn your HTC HD2 off using the power button.
2. With your phone powered off, press and hold the volume up and volume down buttons
3. While holding the volume buttons, press the power button and then release it
4. When you see a warning message on screen, release the volume up and volume down buttons
5. Press the volume up button to perform the reset when prompted, or press any other button to cancel the reset

How to reboot the HTC HD2 with hard reset

First off please access your sd card via computer and make some space on the card . Its always ideal you keep 20 % space free on the card .
Now please do a hard reset of the phone ( considering that you are on default windows mobile 6.5 )
Go to

1. Menu > All Settings > System > Clear Storage.
2. Enter 1234.

OR

1. With your phone powered off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
2. While holding the volume buttons, press the END/POWER button briefly and then release it.
3. When you see a warning message on screen, release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
4. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

The HD2 is an amazing phone but unfortunately this happens allot. If your phone is still under warranty you can contact your service provider, or you can chose to contact HTC and have them send you a replacement phone.

Hello, what sim network in your phones? Are you still used t-mobile sim card? Or you have change that sim card before? it seems you phones unlocked and you need HTC Touch HD2 unlock code so you can access your phones again. Try call T-mobile customer service and requested HTC unlock code for your phones, this process needs 1-2 weeks before you get that unlock code and don't forget to prepare some money to pay charge from t-mobile. If you need that code immediately you also can buy unlock code from third party sites with lower price and just need to wait a couple minutes.

Clear all installed programe on main memory,to get more space......coz programe space on htc hd2 is very small,..u should install ur software on storage card..............Enjoy

I can input the numeric code for my password but when I press the unlock key it is not responding..my phone is HTC HD2 touch
