I've had my camera for about a year now and all of a sudden I have lines in the pictures. My daughter was the last one to use it so I thought she had something to do with this problem. Video works fine and when you first take the picture but, when you review the photos the lines pop up.I've had my camera for about a year now and all of a sudden I have lines in the pictures. The problem you are describing sounds like the LCD on the back of your camera could be broken. This could be due to exposure to extreme temperatures, a drop/fall, or it could be a mechanical failure within the camera.
If you think it may be a mechanical failure and your camera is still under warranty, visit the Kodak support website below and initiate a live chat with a support agent to determine if Kodak can repair the camera for you.
Kodak support website: http://support.en.kodak.com/
If this doesn't resolve the issue. Please determine werther the lines are on the LCD only or also on the printed picture and contact KODAK for a repair.
If your camera is Out of Warranty the repair of this model for this fault is about 88 pounds + shipping. KODAK also offers a Trade up option where you will have the opportunity to trade up to a newer model 25-30% cheaper than the market price.
its obvious a malfunction that didn't occur by bad handling ..and if the device it is still in the warranty period , my advice is to go for it if you never open it or other things that you wouldn't suppose to do
