SOURCE: there is no power to

What is the model of the T.V.? Do you have a power cord from anything else that would fit the T.V. that also has the same power rating? If you do try using that power cable and see if that helps. If it doesn't work try using a different outlet too.

Spectroniq tv doesn't turn on, lights off.

The fuse is inside--power cord should go almost direct to it--beyond that if fuse good is power supply for the set.

Hello,

Your power supply board is dead, do you know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Me and my friend want to watch a movie but we cant find the cord for it. do u know where you can find a cord for a Spectroniq DVD player. Also, do you know what the cord is supposed to look for? Thanks

Hi,

you are suppose to use a RCA cord to connect the DVD player to your TV. The RCA cord is a yellow white and red cord. You can get the cord from any electronics parts store in your area or online from ebay.com or amazon.com

Below is a picture of what the RCA cord looks like for quick identification;

After you have gotten the cord, let me know if you don't know how to connect the cord from the DVD player to the.

Yours sincerely.

Was watching the televisions and it just went out. Unplugging it didn't reset it and the power cord is in pristine condition. Is the problem fixible?

Power supply failure in this Spectroniq/Protron PLTV-3250 is very common. That will be the first place to check.
Check the power supply; look for bad caps with leaking/bulging tops, check to see if you have standby +5vdc at the power supply connector, the front red indicator will not be on if you do not have this +5vdc standby voltage due to shorted out Q7 and ZD4.

Tv does not work powers on and off

This is the best solution for your problem as a 40 year experience with wires etc. Go to the source of your cable signal connector . Open it and clean the terminals with emery paper , sand the end of the cable shiny clean from corrosion , get a new barrel connectors with gold terminals if possible lengthen the ends of the cable , insert and tighten good, use thick rg-16 or rg 40 cable with good insulation ends crimped professionally with a crimpier or buy ready made , not from dollar store. Get a gold plated professional splitter if you need one or two , it will cost about 15 or more each . Make the cable runs as short as possible, using the thick good cables. If needed get a signal magnifier. From radio shack or the source etc. Connect them good and tight . Ground the splitters . Problem solved , you will get crystal clear channel 2 to 7 including 3 and 4 . Isolate the TV cable from other cables and power wires. Vitally

Dvd won't load

I too have a SpectronIQ PD 300-HD that came bundled with my 32" LCD tv (PLTV-3250) and have had the exact same problem. The only thing that worked for me was to totally unhook the DVD player from the tv (HDMI cables and everything) and unplug it from the power source for a minimum of 30 minutes to try to reset it to the factory defaults. The last time I tried this, however, it didn't work. I'm now having a problem with my TV as well - I just got my HD DVR from Dish Network and my picture keeps going from black screen to the blue "just turned on" screen, with the power light going from green to red. Then, suddenly the picture comes back, but sometimes the picture is "tiled", like the tiles news broadcasts use to hide someone's identity. I even have a Dish Network tech at my house RIGHT NOW who is having all kinds of problems figuring out what the problem is, but he thinks it's - GASP - the TV! Of course, since SpectronIQ went bankrupt and Shop NBC (the retailer the set was purchased from, as a GIFT, no less) has been absolutely USELESS, I have no idea what to do and am absolutely LOATH to purchase a new LCD tv. Does anyone know what can be done?
