TAKE THE FUEL LINE OFF THE ENGINE SIDE OF THE PUMP WORK FROM THIS POINT BACK TO THE TANK.PRIME THE LINE FROM THE PUMP TO THE TANK WITH FUEL.RECONNECT FUEL LINE BACK TO THE PUMP FROM TANK. HOLD BACK PRESSURE WITH YOUR THUMB OVER THE PUMP ENGINE SIDE .TURN THE PUMP ON .IF IT DOES NOT PRESSURE UP THE LINE IS CLOGED FROM THIS POINT TO THE TANK.THE FLOAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FLOW OF FUEL FROM THE TANK! AFTER YOU GET FUEL TO THE PUMP FROM THE TANK REPEAT THE PROCESS TO THE CARBURATOR SIMPLE PROCESS OF ELIMANATION! FUEL IN TANK>PUMP>CARBURATOR>ENGINE > MOTER RUNS

I sorry I wasn`t thinking right everything I have worked on lately has had a electric fuel pump, Do this pull fuel line off at the Mechanical fuel pump take a air line and blow the fuel line clean all the way back to the tank have your granboy listen at gas cap position with cap off to see if he can hear the air bubbleing back in to the tank if air is reaching the tank put 15 gallons in it to be sure the fuel pump will pick it up put line back on the pump.Fill the Carberatur float Bowls up taking a 2 liter bottle half full of fuel prime the float bowlsby puting asmall funnel on the float bowl breathing tube in the front of the CARB get the bowls full start it up and keep feed gas through the CARB till the fuel pump is pumping fuel to the engine TRY THAT!?

My mercedes 1999 ml 430 has fuel has spark trys to start wont start

For an engine to run you need 3 things for this to happen:

1) fuel
2) spark
3) air

you confirmed 2 things so the only one missing is air!

02 chevy blazer 4x4 136000 miles on it. Sluggish when accelerating. before i couldnt get it past 60 miles an hr without causing noises from the engine. now all of a sudden i cant even go more than 30 mph....

I would check out the exhaust converter

It should last 12 years or a lot longer

When your vehicle does not run correctly and
does so for years,it over heats the converter
melting the substrate inside, blocking exhaust flow

You need to go over the entire engine, BEFORE
replacing a converter or it will happen again

You may by law, be required to submit your old converter.

89 Chevy Beretta Fuel Lines

how do you know it needs fuel lines, are they leaking? is fuel pump good?did you do fuel pressure test? did you chk. to see if filter is pluged? just because the tank leaks won't keep it from running and that can be fix with a little apoxey and a some elbo grease.

84 vette aready changed ECM coil plugs wires map sensor fuel pump and filter and cleaned out gastank but cant get to run i think it is limp home mode but dont know how to fix

This may sound odd, but did you rermember to keep your "PROM" from your original ECM? It is the memory for all the ECM codes and configuration. The new ECM normally doesn't come with a PROM.
