Follow the wire back from the starter. It should bring you to the relay. Many starter relays have 3 wire going to them. Usually, 1 smaller wire, and 2 larger wires. One wire will be power from the battery. The smaller wire will have power when the key is turned to start. The third wire will carry the battery voltage to the starter during starting. good luck

check the kill switch. If it ran recently then you must have a loose wire somewhere.

You have a bad connection either at the battery terminals or the starter terminal. If the battery is new and fully charged and was not accidently drained overnight by another power source, then a thorough inspection of battery connections is needed. Not much else to cause this primary starting circuit problem, other than the starter itself.

What is the size and year model of my yamaha waverunner the hull id # yama31321394

Yamaha did not make the GP model until 97 and if the numbers you posted are correct you have a 94, that being said all yamahas up until 93 were either a 500 or a 650 so im guessing its not a superjet which is a standup so you may have a waverunner 3, Raider, Blaster, or a wave runner LX. What colors are on it? does it have twin carbs? there will also be a sticker on the engine cases noting engine size.

Yamaha waverunner does not start

hi there it sounds like the switch gear need pulling apart and the copper contacts cleaned as it sounds like the kill switch is closed up and the starter button contacts need cleaning as well also check to see if the stater soliniod might need a cleanup where the wires go,also check your fuses to see if there contacting alright if you ride in all weather or the bike sits outside it can have these problems as mouisture gets into everything. hope this helps cheers pete

I have a yamaha xs 1100 shaft drivin want to strech it can i do that what do i need to do?

There are kits available in Europe that install a lower triple clamp with a different rake angle from the stock forks. I have seen them on cycles before but do not know the name of the company. If there is one that is designed to bolt on to your bike , that would be the easiest way to stretch your frame with out structural weakness being a factor. Start with the article at roadstar clinic :http://roadstarclinic.com/content/view/10/97/

Waverunner bogs down on acceleration

Our 1996 waverunner has been running great until this weekend. It seems to bog down after 3 minutes of running at full speed. If you keep it at 3/4 speed no problem, it runs steady. Tried carb cleaner but it still runs the same....What repairs are we looking at. thanks.....
