When I try to print a page from the web, it prints what looks like code. It will not print the actual page that is front of me on the web. However, if print from Word Perfect, it is fine.

It's not your printer problem. The web page size is different from paper size. For these reson when you select whole web page, the web page divide more sector and at these time your printer print one of them or more.
Here is a software that help you to print the web pagehttp://www.printpunk.com/downloads.htm
Or,
There are some web site to print web page.
Jast go to the web, paste expected web address and try to print.
Or
If you are wondering why you can't just click the print command and get the web page or other internet page you're looking at to print out properly, you're not alone. Too often pages get cut off at the margin so the ends of lines are missing or pictures are cut off, or blanks appear where words or images should be. This is pretty frustrating because you can see the words right there on the screen; they're there, but when you print them out they're gone.
Never fear-- we a have a few how to tips and tricks for you to get those internet pages to print out nice, neat and complete.
First Click on Print Preview
Before you print out a page, go to your browser menu (usually the file menu) and click on print preview. This will bring up images of the web pages as they will appear on a print out. If they look good, all you should have to do is click the print command, usually also found in the browser menu file window, and they will print out as shown. Note, however, that once in a great while the print preview will not be accurate, and the print out will not match the preview. But don't tear your hair out, just make use of the tips that follow.
Look for the Printer Friendly Link
Some pages will have a "printer friendly" or "printable version" link or the like. Click on this link and you will get a version of the web page or pages that is optimized for print out. Once you have brought up this printer friendly version, just click on your print command found in your internet browser window. You might still have some problems if you are printing on a black and white printer, which we will discuss later, but otherwise you should get a faithful print out.
Also Look for the Pdf File Link
If the page you've called up comes up as a pdf file, you should have no problem printing it. If it is the usual html file, it may also have a link that will take you to a pdf file version of the same pages. Look for this pdf file link and click on it to bring up the pdf file. To read this pdf file, you will need a copy of adobe acrobat, which you can download for free by clicking on this adobe acrobat link. Remember that once you're in a pdf file, you should click on the print command in the pdf file menu, not on the print command found in your internet browser window. Clicking on the browser print command may cause all kinds of problems, depending on how your computer is configured.

Print in Landscape Instead of Portrait
If the print preview shows pages cut off on the margin, and you don't have a access to printer friendly or pdf versions, you can print the pages out in landscape instead of portrait format. If you don't know already, landscape prints left to right across the longest dimension of the page (as in a landscape painting) and portrait prints out the normal way (as in a portrait painting). When you print in landscape, you are pretty much guaranteed that nothing will get cut off at the margins. In most browsers, you go to the file menu, click on 'page setup', and in the page setup window click check the landscape box before you do your print out.
Black and White Printer Problems
Some black and white printers do not convert all the colors to black or gray causing some elements of pages not to print out at all. You get blanks spaces instead of words or picture. I have a black and white printer that does not print out blue. This is really aggravating when printing out text that contains a lot of those blue underlined links. You are reading a sentence and suddenly there are missing words.
There are a couple of solutions here. The obvious one is to print out the pages on a color printer or a different black and white printer that does not have this problem. Another solution is to cut and paste the web page into another program such as a word processing program. In many cases you can just then print out the pages and they will print fine. In other cases you will have to use the software program (that you've just pasted the page into) to change the problem color portions to black and white, and then print out the pages.
Problems Photocopying Web Page Print Outs
Sometimes a page prints out fine on a color printer, but you have problems copying color portions on a black and white photocopier. A lot of photocopiers don't copy yellow well. This may be intentional, as it allows you to get good copies of things written on yellow legal pads, and to eliminate yellow highlighter marks from pages you have marked up. However if the yellow is content you want to keep, it just gets lost. Try another photocopier; they don't all do this. Alternatively, print out on a black and white printer before you photocopy.
When All Else Fails
If you still can't print out successfully, you can try another web browser, or you can email the webmaster or other contact for that website and ask for a fix, copy of their catalog or whatever ot

Because my Deskjet 932C wasn't printing at all, I downloaded a new driver for it from the HP site. Now it prints but prints only the top portion of a page -- sometimes about 1.5 inches, sometimes 3 inches,...

I would recommend uninstalling the installed driver from your system, disconnect the USB cable (if one is installed), reboot.

Once the system comes back up, turn off your anti-virus. Now install the printer driver again. Install the USB cable for the printer (if that's how you're connecting) and finish the install.

Re-enable your anti-virus.

I got sharp printer which is not printing PDF papers. could you please helpout.. please..

If you're trying to print out PDF's directly off a web site, this could be your problem. There's coding anomalies between web pages and imbedded PDF's that can cause some printers to lock up, show error codes or simply not print the screen out. You may want to avoid these web page PDF's as to my knowledge there's presently no solution to directly print these out.

Also, if the document is first in line in your print queue it can block any other documents from printing, so you'll need to delete the PDF from the queue.

Test Page automatically prints

Disconnect Printer from PC. Uninstall the driver and download most recent driver from HP web site. If there is a print management program which there should be uninstall this as well and download the latest version.

Shut down, not reboot PC
Start PC

Start the install process by installing the print management program installation. Follow the process and test. If it persists try a different USB cable.

HL-2070N will not properly print

My guess is the problem is with Firefox trying to print the page and not the printer. Try to go to File > Print Preview and see if it looks normal there. If not, I have 3 suggestions:
  1. Try to change the "Page Options" or "Scale" under the Print Preview
  2. Try to install and use the Firefox Add-On "IE Tab". This gives you the choice to display the page with Internet Explorer, while still using Firefox. You can turn on IE Tab, and then try to print. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419
  3. Upgrade to Firefox 3.

Printing problem

hi,
Is she trying to print web pages or info from the internet while using people pc?
If so, it's going to kick it off because of the lack of download bandwidth.
Instead of printing direclt from the webpage, try to save as a file, then print the file instead of the actual page.
Hope that helps.
Good luck

Hp psc1410 printer

If you are trying to print from a web page keep in mind that not everything that is on the web is able to be printed. I would look for a link which is usually found near the top of bottom of a web page that usually says something about printing the page. An example would be if you use google maps to get directions. In the corner of the directions it says Print. If you click that link it would open the actual link you can print from.
