My Gogear Raga is "stuck"

I just had the same problem now and what I did was hit the reset button. I did this out of desperation as I was not home when this happened. Luckily, when I turned it back on, all my files are still there!

Yaaaay! :D

My GoGear Raga MP3 Player is detected in my PC but when the time i access it. a pop-up will display and prompt "Please insert a disk into drive [g:]" and i look at the properties the file system...

if your mp3 player is compatible with memory card insert one then connect the player to the pc
if not, it's obligatory that it shows 2 drives: one that can not be opened ( the drive "g" in your case ), the other is the one you can use to copy your data & files

You will need to connect the gogear to the PC and see the files inthe player. Now select the files to be deleted one by one and delete them.
Once the work is finished remove with safe removal.

On my Gogear Raga 2GB I can't make a playlist. (SA2RGA02). With WMP I can synchronise the music, but there's no playlist on the device. All the music is stored in different folders on the Raga and not in...

Sync all the songs you want onto the raga via 'songbird'.
Stay connected, then go to windows explorer, identify your device. Then in 'Music', make folders for your playlists. Manually transfer (drop and drag) your songs to the required folder/playlist.
When using the raga use the 'folder' option. Works as playlists.

It will not let me add videos any more and my memory is not full i still have space

The GoGear allows you to make voice or FM radio recordings and saves the recordings to the internal memory. The internal memory is limited and the GoGear may show the message "Memory Full" when trying to save recordings. When you receive this message, plug the device into the computer and delete any extraneous files or files you no longer want to keep on your device. This will free up memory so you can save more recordings or place additional music files on the GoGear.
.............................................

I recommend you to reset your device If the solution above didn't solve the problem :.

Take a small object like a paper clip and use the edge to stick into the small reset button on the side next to the usb connection .

Or Try [ power + volume up button & hold for 3 seconds ]

..........................................................................................

Your mp3 player has two types of memory in it. The hard drive (where the music and photos are stored) and the Ram (where the firmware and active files are temporarily hosted).

When you soft reset your GoGear, it flushes the RAM, and restarts the operating system (which is why the contents of the hard drive does not get erased).

You can "hard reset" the device, by formatting the drive and resetting it to factory defaults in the Settings field. This is the closest thing to a "hard reset: that's available with an HD based MP3 player.
