My car is outfitted with an Eclipse UCNV884RE audio/navigation system. I took my car to a maintenace station for repairs and it is now not functioning. The repair personnel said they didn't interfere with the audio system, but said that they had diconnected the battery. The system is receiving power because the the face tilts open and close but the screen is stuck on the display "eject cd, eject dvd, open" no matter what key I press. Can you please help me.

It's been coded for use in another region. You can only do this like 5 times on media devices in general. You need to either find a cd or take it to a repair shop to see if they have the ability to set it to the U.S., assuming that's where you're from. Usually, no one sets the region as this creates resale issues, however, in Japan & other asian countries, they code thier media differently then everyone else! I know that doesn't help you right now, but as long as it was only regionalized once, it's fixable.

Behind the face is a reset button. you will need a paper clip to push it. Straighten out the paper clip so you can push the recessed button. This is a factory reset. It should fix the problem.
