I read through the Rado used instructions and can find no reference to date flashing being a warning of some sort, so it looks as though it has developed a fault.

Perhaps it is a low battery warning? Changing the battery might be the cheapest first step to solving the problem.

If your watch is still within warranty, the Rado should fix or replace it free of charge, if it is out of warranty then you will have to pay for any repairs.

If it is showing the correct date, then you could always live with it!

Examine the markings on the battery. It is likely to be a 1.5-volt Silver Oxide or Alkaline battery. It doesn't matter which one you use, although the Silver Oxide battery can handle heavier energy-consuming loads, such as a multifunctional chronograph.
