Been on YouTube trying to watch videos and there is no volume even tho it is not muted on the web page or in the bottom right corner. Is there ought in the settings to change

Youtube has its own "mute/volume-control" level.
Unmute the video, and increase the volume-level.

delete evrything you've downloaded for youtube and make sure you are on the sucre youtube website. Good Luck!

if you are getting sound on all other programs, i would reckon its the volume bar which is just below the video clip next to the pause button on youtube needs turned up.
if you are having problems with sound not related to youtube directly i would suggest checking your sound driver is installed correctly and its turned up and not muted in bottom right hand corner of desktop.

there could be two differrent problems here.

1. Currupted flash player- download flash uninstaller and uninstall your current flash version. then (re)install the current version of flash player.

2. windows mixer in vista/7 has the web browser turned down- Right click on the volume icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen, and select "volume mixer". then ensure that your web browser (most likely, internet explorer) has the volume turned up.

may be ur system volume is muted... or if other music sounds of ur pc are playing... den when u play a video in youtube go to right hand corner of the video where u get the volume control of the video. unmute that... or increase its volume...

Here's what you need to do.....open your web browser... on the address bar, type youtube.com...
once the youtube web page appear, click the "create account" located at the upper right corner of the web page.....now fill up forms... input username, location,date of birth and gender.. then click " I accept " button...
On the right side of the web.. input your email address , your password, confirm password and word verification...

That's it. you are automatically sign in to youtube.com after accomplishing that...

And if your not do this... open your web browser.. type youtube.com on the address bar press enter... on the upper right corner of the page, click sign in..
type your username and your password, then click sign...

Do you have sound in other programs?

If you are watching a video, make sure the videos volume is now low or muted.

Also in the bottom right corner you should have a speaker icon, you need to make sure that is not muted, double click on it and make sure that noting is muted there, there should be a slider that you can move sideways to see more levers.
