I would take a train to Nebraska, go in to the local restaraunt (don't worry, there is only 1 restaraunt in Nebraska) and buy a cow from Orville (the cook). Rent a car and drive home with the cow in the back seat. When you get home, put the printer in front of the cow and have the cow jump up and down on the printer. If the printer STILL doesn't work after that, buy a new printer.
SOURCE: My ink cartridges won't move to the center when I open the printe
Be sure the printer is powered on as it needs power to move the cartridges - this is a common mistake.
SOURCE: The print cartridge cradle cannot move.
"The print cartridge cradle cannot move."
I fixed this problem by disconnecting the power cord from the power-strip and connecting it directly into the wall. My printer was not getting enough voltage from the power-strip. I hope this helps.
SOURCE: Ink cartridge cradle will not move from right hand side
on right hand side there is adjusment lever just press it . this will move the cartridge
SOURCE: A faulty ink cartridge cradle latch causing problems.
