I have not used this printer in 5-6 yrs. I turned it on and wanted to check the ink cartridge. However, the cradle does not move the cartridges to the center. Anything I can do?

I would take a train to Nebraska, go in to the local restaraunt (don't worry, there is only 1 restaraunt in Nebraska) and buy a cow from Orville (the cook). Rent a car and drive home with the cow in the back seat. When you get home, put the printer in front of the cow and have the cow jump up and down on the printer. If the printer STILL doesn't work after that, buy a new printer.

SOURCE: My ink cartridges won't move to the center when I open the printe

Be sure the printer is powered on as it needs power to move the cartridges - this is a common mistake.

"The print cartridge cradle cannot move."
I fixed this problem by disconnecting the power cord from the power-strip and connecting it directly into the wall. My printer was not getting enough voltage from the power-strip. I hope this helps.

I can't seem to install my ink cartridge correctly. Do you have a picture demonstration on how to do this? I continue getting an error message.
