My John Deere leaf blower (BH25) will not start. I've had it for several years and have had no prior trouble with it. It uses two-cycle fuel. I usually get the stuff you mix with regular gasoline and mix up a batch of it in a certain container. The last time I did this, the blower started and I used it around my yard, but it cut out a few times and I had to keep restarting it. Having finished the job, I just put it away in the garage and didn't think more about it. Now I've tried and tried, but it will not start. Do you think maybe the spark plug needs to be replaced, or maybe something wrong with the fuel? I'm kinda stumped.

Im using a BH25 thats a few years old too, but it runs on straight gasoline, with separate oil system. Hopefully yours is not the same model, if so its probably destroyed.

Inherited a old John deere hand held leaf blower need to know if the fuel line with I'm guessing is a vent of some kind that's opposite of the line with the actual fuel filter on it.does this2ndlinego

See;
https://weingartz.com/illustrated-diagram/john-deere-parts-lookup/model-bh25-bh25le-bh30-power-blower-pc2699/4275-171089

The above link is a component pictorial so its not exact, but shows two lines not three so the cap is the vent. (mantis tillers have a no vent fuel cap and 3rd line for the tank vent)

Side note: Id like to see picture of a $200+ 2 cycle carburetor.

John Deere bh25 blower won't start has fuel and new plug stop switch is ok

Sounds like a dirty carb. If you can take off the fuel bowl and clean it out real good and blow out the fuel jet and make sure there is no dirt in it. That quite often will get you going. An engine will not run if the jet is plugged.

Bh25 le carb schematic

The waxy substance it gelled fuel. You have to totally clean and blow out all passageways. Resist using any hard tools or drill bits, you want to change NOTHING in terms of size..You just want it totally all cleaned.
Replace all soft parts. Verify the passageways are open. I prefer to soak in carb cleaner, it is strong and nasty, but resolves what you describe. Spray stuff seems to work well, but I worry about areas like venturi discharge systems...Soaking does it.

What is the fuel/oil ratio of a john deere BH25 leaf blower?

The BH25 that I use from my friend runs on STRAIGHT gas, it is 4cycle. Do NOT put a fuel mix into it!! It has separate oil system.

I have a John Deere hand held blower. I can't get

Your adjustments to the carburetor may make it worse.
Plus if the fuel mixture is over 30 old, I would replace it.
Manufacturers have told us this year any gas over 30 days old is considered bad gas and needs to be replaced. I would try some fresh gas(from the station) and some new 2 cycle oil at 40:1 Ratio(3.2 ozs 2 cycle oil to 1 gal of gas).
Good day.

Does this blower use 2 cycle mix; I have a homelite vac attack II 200mph blower and it is having trouble starting

Yes it will use a fuel mixture of 40:1(3.2 oz of two cycle oil to 1 gallon of gas). Any fuel sitting over 30 days now is considered bad fuel. All the manufacturers schools this year and told us this. We are finding it to be true.
Good day.
