I checked the site you recommended, but the solution is not there. All I want to do is print this booklet. In print preview, everything appears to be correct. I can print one-sided with no problem - but I need 2-sided printing. My printer is capable, as I have printed a booklet in Publisher on that printer. The Word document prints 2-sided, but is reduced to print on half the letter sized page, AND it prints the back side of the page upside down! HELP!!!

I could print microsoft booklets just fine with Microsoft 2003 using current computer and printer. With Microsoft 2007 inserted pictures are in the wrong places and pages 2 & 3 print on top of each other.

You don't need the original HP install disc. Go to the H Support site and download and install the newest one listed for your operating system. Turn the printer off and unplug it, wait 10 secs and plug it back in after installing the latest driver and software. Should work fine for you.
first change driver, second print to hdd in printer, and then call this job from hdd and change copy amount. if this is not helping, then maybe the firmware is faulty, fw update is good idea
1)The print driver has two collate buttons and you only need to uncheck the first one (which is the windows driver not the Konica Driver) or
2) Install a new driver
After a great deal of frustration and trying every permutation possible I succeeded amid an ever rising mountain of paper! . . .and find that I have to totally ignore the "Booklet printing" option . . . but ask it to print landscape; 1 page per sheet; flip on short edge.
Now I need to do the same to crack the sytem for the Cannon Pixma IP4000 inkjet.
Thank you for your consideration.
I believe this is going to be a software issue. Do a print preview of the booklet first to see if they are showing up in the right order. If they are, then it is a printer issues and I really can't help you there, but it they aren't then you know it might be a software issue. Check you formatting on the document before you trying printing it again.
You're right, most do offer that option from the print driver. I would check Panasonic's web site to see if they offer a postscript driver, that may have booklet printing.
after hours of messing about i discovered that my printer, a xerox phaser has all this in its set up menu, going to print properties let me specify booklet size double sided etc, i love this printer, wonder why microsoft make it so hard to do this in their program?
