Sir i forget my phonix cmos passward ,can there be another method except for removing a cmos battry

u can easilyn remove the bios password by removing cmos battry for abt 3 to 5 mins and in a laptop the laptop battry itself cointains cmos battry so u just need to take out battry and then switch ont the laptop without battry then insert the battry and switch it on again good luck

well after removing the battery you also have to disconnect the CMOS battery....if u can do dat for about 4hrs or u take it to an expert.

To clear bios password

You can ask for a bios pw reset from the computer manufacturer tech support dept.they can try to reset the pw for you,but if that does not work, the motherboard needs to be replaced on your system
