Im having the exact same problem locating a replacement bone. Have you found one yet? If you have found one please contact me at [email protected]. Thank you for your time!

Looks like anyone with a defective d-rex is out of luck. Bought mine at a thrift store cheap, without the remote. It did show some signs of life when I put batteries in it so I started looking for a remote. I only found them on eBay where people were asking as much as $100 for one. I finally settled on one for about $40 hoping that was all I needed. It lights up when I push the buttons but the d-rex doesn’t respond now, in fact it doesn’t show any signs of life now when I put good batteries in and turn it on. I’m pretty mechanically inclined, so I might try fixing it but that will require surgically removing the skin and hoping I can get it back on when I’m done. I’d love to hear from anyone else who’s tried it.
I went to Mattel's web page, typed in D-Rex control bone, in the search area, and they came up. There are two different models so make sure you get the right control bone for your D-Rex.
