Changing code on keyless pad on old garage door opener

I have a Craftsman 0310D359 and would like to change the code on the pad to open the garage door but have been unable to locate a manual to tell me how to do this.  Newer manuals assume the pad has a # and an *  I have neither. Help please!

IF THE UNIT HAS SAFETY EYES YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND A SQUARE PROGRMING BUTTON.

PRESS AND RELEASE YOU NOW HAVE 20 SECONDS TO INPUT THE NEW CODE ON THE KEYPAD AND PRESS ENTER.

How can I reprogram my keyless pad?

If you mean wireless keypad it is like this. Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to your keypad and key in your 4 digit code and press enter.
