Mobike mechanics are self employed and work for themselves. They can do it cheaper because they know garages charge by they book on what labor charge by the hour to do job. They can undercut like say changing ur front brakes pads....a garage will charges 260 for parts and labor for 20 minutes of work and according to book it's a 1.5 hour job and will charge that labor rate. In reality is a 20 minute job and mobile mechanic will charge u 150 bucks and keeps it not sharing it with nobody.
Most of that charge (the $200.00) was likely the service call itself. IF you don't have a maintenance agreement with these folks they charge an arm and a leg for service calls. The fan will be much more pricey than the capacitor, and you will certainly get another service call charge. You may want to ask about a maintenance agreement at that time. Some places will waive the service charge if you purchase one. Then you basically get the semi-annual servicing for the same price as you would have paid just to have the blower replaced (depending on the contract cost)..
" service charging system ", means you have an issue with your battery, your alternator, or your voltage regulator. Something is causing your battery not to charge properly. You should have it checked as soon as possible. This could keep your vehicle from starting next time.
