I want to get a Skype on my Blackberry curve 8520!! I usually have to make calls to U.S. and Canada so thought to get this application on my phone but don't know anything much about it,please help i will be very much thankful to you.

Blackberry Curve doesn't support Skype. you can try iSkoot instead. It is a free program that puts Skype in on your Blackberry.

At this point, there isn't an official Skype application for BlackBerry's, unless you're on Verizon in the United States. (They have an official agreement with them). There should be one coming sometime in the future.
Meebo for BlackBerry supports Google Talk, which allows for Google Chat.

The best solution to unlock your Blackberry Curve 8520 is by using the Unlock code. Always go for a trusted vendor to purchase the unlock code. I have unlocked my Blackberry Curve 8520 from UnlockGenie.com. I think their codes wont fail.

Guys just go to iskoot.com and choose skype. I've tried installing it on my 8520 but chose 8320 from the list, as the latest BB are not shown in there. Gud Luck
