Hi

F9 is a door lock error and to solve this issue you can hold the light switch for 15 seconds, this will reset the control. If it won't work then hold the light switch in and set the unit to clean and after a minute press cancel to cancel the clean cycle. If still it won't work then the door lock assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

The digital controls on my frigidaire stove do not work. It beeps continually and it flashes F1 on the screen. The oven doesn't work but the burners do. I've tried what it says in the manual to...

F-1 is a sub-code for a few different issues. A button could be stuck, oven cavity getting too hot, or the control has a memory failure. Any of those three failures would require a new control. But first, what happened to the range when it first failed? If you unplug it and try again, what happens?

I had the oven on 350 for 45 min. baking potatoes and then the oven beeped twice and F1 showed up on the screen where it had said 350 so I turned the oven off and the time then showed on the screen. ...

The manual says error code "F1" means a problem occurred in the circuitry and suggests pressing "CLEAR" to reset it. If the problem persists, contact a repair guy.
See page 19: http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Springfield/316257104en.pdf
"This oven is equipped with a state of the art electronic oven control. Among its many features is a full time oven circuit diagnostics system. The control constantly monitors its internal circuitry as well as several crucial oven circuits to insure they are all operating correctly. If at any time one of these systems fails, the control will immediately stop operation, and beep continuously (flashing an error code of F1, F3 or F9 in the display window, if equipped). Electronic control has detected a fault condition. Press CLEAR to clear the display and stop the beeping. Reprogram oven. If fault recurs, record fault number, press CLEAR and contact an authorized servicer."

Code f9 on frigidaire self cleaning oven. what does it mean. i went to clean the oven and the door locked and the code f9 came up and keeps beeping. i unplugged the stove for 1/2 hour and plugged it...

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. F9 error in your oven/range indicates an issue with the door locks assembly and/or the door latch. To start with check the door lock circuit, you can also try to jump start it to see if it's working. If it's not working then the Electronic Range control has gone bad and should be replaced, if it is working then the door lock circuit should be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Here's the info from the service manual:

"Fault Code: F9

Likely Failure Condition/Cause:
1. Door motor failure / jammed. Latch
motor switch failure.
2. Control software failure, or component
failure (relay stuck).
3. Wiring Problem.

Suggested Corrective Action:
1. Press CLEAR key.
2. If CLEAR key does not eliminate problem, turn off power for
30 seconds, then turn on power.
3. Check wiring of Lock Motor, and Lock Switch A and Door
Switch circuits.
4. Unplug P4, apply power (L1) directly to the Lock Motor, if the

Stove door locked and continues to beep and flash code F9

The F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.
