Did you install the drivers off the cd that came with the printer? And if so, check your drivers and make sure it shows that its there. Maybe then you could look online for a downloadable version.

EPrinter Not Detecting iPhone or iPad to "Airprint" or "Direct Print"

I run an ePrinter wirelessly (WiFi) off a ASUS EA-N66 wireless repeater. This tip pertains to a HP 6525 printer in case you find this attempting to correct the same problem.
When first connected everything connected except the "Airprint" features or 'Direct Print" off my iPhone and iPad. I found the default printer settings were set to "Simultaneous IPv4 & IPv6". The iPhone/iPads communicate at IPv4. Theoretically they should function in the "Simultaneous IPv4 & IPv6" setting but they did not. Changing to the "IPv4" only setting corrected the issue and the printer functions with everything I have including a WiFi PC laptop, a Wifi Mac, iPhone and iPad.

Need help connecting my printer to my computerWhat's your problem?

turn off your computer. plug in your printer to power. plug the printer cord into printer and then into computer. turn on your computer. if you have the cd that came with it place it into the cd drive once the computer boots up. your computer should detect the new equipment and walk you through the set up wizard. if not go to the control panel and "add hardware" to tell your computer to detect the new equipment which will start the install wizard... good luck!

I have a gigabyte ga-945gcmx-s2 and its giving me problems like freezing while detecting new hardware, showing blank screen after the beep and beeps going on.Can someone please help me with this problem

This sounds like a problem with your new Graphics card. (This is just an assumption.) When the Os loads a new graphics driver it can cause a slow down and screen flashing. It is better to download the correct (most up to date) driver for your new hardware before you attempt to install drivers from the Hardware Detection Wizard. These aren't always the most appropriate drivers. Enter this site into your browser for the correct Drivers for your Motherboard.

Hope this helps. Good luck ,and if this doesn't help contact me again.

Hi i have a allin one hp1215 and need to scan with it but not done it before need help please

In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer ONLY WHEN PROMPTED, to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. take the test print on the printer and this must be set on the scanner and clicked for ALIGNMENT. This is an automatic process and it will attempt to do it and calibrate. If there is any error , then you need to repeat the process once again.

Thank you for using Fixya

Izaakzakei cant get my printer connected to my laptop i have downloaded the driver but its still not working

Hello,

You need to install the softeware first with the printer unplugged from the computer!

Insert your softeware disk and restart your computer, if computer doesn't detect new software when it is rebooting....than go into your control panel...click on install new software.

Once that is installed, you'll need to restart again with the printer hooked up this time.

Again, if computer doesn't detect new hardware, go into control panel, click on install new printer, you will have to select the make and model, or if you have the disk, select have disk, then next...you computer should install the hardware for you printer.

After installed, restart again...to see if if new software and hardware is detected and is being installed.

Go to your printers, from your control panel, and see if your printer is there, if not select, add new printer, it will take you through the process from there. Make sure you select this to be your default printer!

Happy printing!

Shows 'out of paper' when it is not

In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels.
Sometimes the power supply unit must be checked as a poor SMPS unit can deliver low voltage and cause issues to the printer function. Check all the leads and connections of the mother board , the tags to the ink cartridge. Also check the mechanical settings of the ink cartridge and the paper detect sensors, if faulty this must be replaced.

  2. an icon of the printer will be seen with the name of the printer
