I've had my Tocco Lite for nearly a year and it's never done anything like this before. I've got signal, up to about five bars of it, yet it still says 'limited service', so I cannot send or receive texts or calls, only emergency calls. Any ideas why?

I would think because your wipers don't work as well it could be your multi-function switch. (turn signal arm) The only other thing I would have recomended before hearing that your windshild wipers didn't work would have been your turn signal flasher. You may still want to try replacing that before anything elese. It will only cost you a few bucks and is located under your dash on the driver side. Near your OBDII plug. If your cruise control dosen't work as well, I would believe strongly that it is your multi-function switch.

The best thing I can tell you is, that Danby does not recommend it. Even an extension cord is not recommended, unless it is a 14 gauge and no longer that 6 feet.
Several questioners in the past, have used a surge protect power bars and ended up frying the electronics of their AC units.
Try placing your laptop as close to the location of their router, removing barriers like walls for best speeds. Maybe your neighbour is having the same problem. Have them unplug the router for 10 sec (no more). Power-cycling once-a-month or so, is a good thing
