The most likely cause for this is a damaged or defective flexible ribbon cable that connects the LCD to the camera body and will require disassembling the camera and LCD assembly to remove and replace the flex cable. This can be done fairly inexpensively. However, it's not really a user serviceable problem and should be repaired by a qualified service technician.

My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

47 inch LG led. Turns on black screen. Did flashlight test and I see a picture. Tested Led light and they light up. Changed main board no difference. Changed power board with led inverted build in....

Back light either set too low or gone duff. Try increasing back light intensity/brightness/ contrast in that order.
Otherwise it's a skilled repair job or buy a new TV.

Samsung led tv UN46EH5300FXZA screen is black with no sound. Will turn on and can see menu when shining a flash light on screen. No visible back light or damage when inspecting boards. Suggestions?

Hi There,
It appears to be a case of backlight failure. It is a common problem with LED TVs. Some of the LEDs in the backlight must have gone bad. It is repairable but needs an expert to do.

My phone is receiving calls but the home screen is black.

First try, disabled internet and get a call from someone. If that solves - then your problem occurs due to a bad app. Some apps pop up ads annoyingly, which is very irritating. Uninstall the app that you suspect or do a factory reset.

Panasonic TX-L42E5B tv sound working but screen is black

It can also be the YMain board or the back light inverter board or a capacitor or fuse has blown on the power supply board. Which you usually lose sound before you lose both sound and picture. Try to hard reset is for about 4-6 hours by completely unplugging it.
