How can I use skype on my blackberry 8520. - RIM BlackBerry Curve 8520 Smartphone

Sorry to say but unless you have select blackberry handsets from Verizon (which unfotunately the 8520 isn't a verizon device) then you cannit get skype on a Blackberry device.

You go here : http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-mobile/skype-mobile/blackberry/ and enter your phone number.

Blackberry Curve doesn't support Skype. you can try iSkoot instead. It is a free program that puts Skype in on your Blackberry.

Unfortunatly, skype is not available for blackberry yet. But, it will be available in May if you can wait till then. I've attached an article for you which explains the announcement.

At this point, there isn't an official Skype application for BlackBerry's, unless you're on Verizon in the United States. (They have an official agreement with them). There should be one coming sometime in the future.
Meebo for BlackBerry supports Google Talk, which allows for Google Chat.
