I Have taken pictures with the camera , after it saves it keeps telling me photo error , im trying to recovery images i have taken , and they are unable to view and when i copy them to my pc , windows says unable to view file

Your pictures may be corrupted.You can recover those corrupted pictures with this
1. Do not save any new pictures into the memory card of your camera.
2. Insert the memory card into a card reader. Connect it with computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
3. Download recovery software, recommended one is Tenorshare Data Recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked)

4. Install and open the program, select your memory drive, and click 'Start' button to start scanning process which will find your deleted photos.

If you have only deleted the photos and have not taken additional photos or used the card in any way is is very likely they can be restored,

First lock away the SD card until we are ready. Find another and after saving some test images delete the images on the test SD card.

Pandora Recovery has saved my bacon and was a breeze to use.
Next step download and practice several times with your test SD until you are confident.

Next open the lock and after your are done just be happy!!

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.

If needed, you may format (use quick format) the memory card and then use asoftech photo recovery to recover your files.

RAW images won't upload
Are you using the camera to upload the photos? I recommend that you get a SDHC reader(USB) and copy the files off of the SD card onto your harddrive. it is a common problem that RAW images cannot be read by windows or certain programs. Photoshop CS3 and later are able to read and open the RAW images from this camera if your "camera raw" portion of adobe is current. it is good practice anyway to load your photos directly from the SD card. I had a G9 since it first came out and now i have a G10--i have never even attempted to upload from the camera. don't let this discourage you from shooting RAW because it is the primary reason in my opinion for owning a G9 or G10. In this case you should use recovery software to see if you lost pictures can be got back. Recommend you have a try of Wondershare Photo Recovery, a program which can recover lost pictures, videos can music with both Windows and Mac version, you can free download the program from the sites,

Step-to-Step Instruction:

3. Now the scanning process will start automatically to look for the deleted items. You will then get a list of all recoverable ones.

Picture Error
that particular image corrupted through not deleting properly. What to do? 1. Reformat the card in camera and sacrifice the images. 2. download recovery software and try to pull stuff off the card then reformat. download recovery software from www.pcinspector.co. or www.konvar.com.
