the internal battery may be discharged or might be out of action. Try charging it up first. Cold weather is a sore point with some rechargable batteries.
OK, if you are certain that the unit is receiving a power current, this
will most defiantly confirm a major chip fault in in the main control
board.
Try to wake the control by cutting the power to the unit for 5 minutes.
if the damage isn't severe, this will either, reset the program or,
render and error code. if both do not appear and the control remains
blank or dead, after the reset, replace the main control board.
I supose this is not how its suposed to work, only thing I can think of is somekind of a hardware side problem, Im sure you still have warranty on it, if you can you should go and get it replaced.
